Vintage C.A. Myers Company Lock Stitch Sewing Awl with full instructions, 2 needles and small wrench stored in handle. These have never been used and come in their original box. The sewing awl, needles and wrench are all in excellent condition. The length of the awl is 5-1/4". There is some minor brown coloring on one side of the box from a leather dye, but otherwise the box also is intact. This sewing awl was made in about 1970 by the C.A. Myers Co. of Chicago, Illinois which declares:  "This is the Awl that meets every condition for a handy tool to med old or new harness. Indispensable for repairing saddles, gun cases, suit cases, shoes, carpets, grain bags, burlap, awnings, pulley belts, buggy and auto tops. Can be used to sew up wire cuts on horses and cattle." The Patent No. 2060349.  This sewing awl has been carefully stored since the 1970's in a smoke-free and pet-free home.
