    Lot of original Civil War era clay marbles.  Includes 10 marbles and 1 shooter.  Dug in the area of Fredericksburg VA.  These most likely were colored at one time.  Measure approximately 11mm in diameter to 18mm (shooter).  A simple common game soldiers used to pass the time away during down time.  The reference is from Lord's encyclopedia.
