For your consideration is a fine Gorham sterling silver twin handled Loving Cup Trophy presented by Howard Heinz to Richard Dillon Booth, made circa 1930’s. This heavy gauge Loving Cup has a nice form and is adorned with a neat raised silver Medallion. The Medallion appears to be a profile of Heinz Ketchup founder Henry J. Heinz, who was Howard Heinz’s father. Howard Heinz headed up the H. J. Heinz Company from 1919 till his untimely death in 1941. He was known as one of the greatest Businessmen of the 20th Century, as he led Heinz Ketchup through the Great Depression and onward to massive success. This Piece is in very good lightly used condition. Inscribed: “ PRESENTED TO RICHARD DILLON BOOTH BY HOWARD HEINZ OCTOBER 2 - 1937”.
