    Fits the body of a Dremel Model 4000 rotary tool.
    Fits into bench vise. Lightly clamping the vise secures the Dremel tool.
    Together you have an instant bench mounted grinder/ cutoff wheel.
    REQUIRES you have or get a Dremel Model 4000
    or 4200 rotary tool.
    Fits current production Model 4000 and 4200.
    DOES NOT fit 100 and 200 series, Models 395, 3000, 4300, 8220
    Designed in CAD and printed on PrintRBot in PLA plastic.
    Sorry, Dremel changed the body dimensions. Model 4000 and 4200 have recessed sides. Holder has ridges to grab the recessed sides. Ridges are beveled to ease put-on and take-off. Also has holes for #8 sheet metal screws. Holes are 2.75" center to center. Model 4000 or 4200 can be mounted right side up or inverted (rotated). See photos.

    Q: I don't have a bench vise. How sturdy is it for cutting when screwed into a tabletop?
    A: The "V" model is just for use in a vise. I make the "VT" for vise and table mounting. It has a pinch bolt that clamps the Dremel in the holder. Screw holes allow mounting to a table or block of wood. Secured to a table it will not move. Well, Not easily. So, for table mounting you want/ need the Yellow colored DH4000VT. There is a link near the top of description.
