Original Clemco Abrasive Metering Valve (FSV) #02427 is the work horse of the industry, an original Clemco design, now copied across the globe. It is used on the machines from 2- cubic feet to 20-cubic feet.
Optimum flow depends on the type and size of the abrasive and blasting pressure, and can best be determined by experience. Use as little abrasive as possible while maintaining the maximum cleaning rate. The air/abrasive mixture should be mainly air. As a rule, the stream of abrasive coming out of the nozzle should barely discolor the air when seen against a contrasting background. By doing this you can save on the consumption of abrasive media and increase the rate of production.
This Flat Sand Valve does not include the tank coupling or the Flexible Pusher line (Red Hose)
