    Description

    One of my favorite pieces in my collection. Just noticed the pistol is bent in this piece of art . Never noticed it before just found it packing it up . Because it has a slight defect I will discount to 0 . I have had this since 1988 and never noticed. Check pictures.in my opinion it does not distract fro this dynamic piece . This piece is depicting the fatal wound Major General J.E.B. Stuart received at the “Battle of YellowTavern. He died shortly thereafter . The detail is fantastic the horse is rearing back as Stuart clutches his side . . You can see the agonizing look on his face . This was made in 1988!. Chilmark fine pewter civil war J.E.B.Stuart #686/2500. Condition is "Used". The artist Francis J.Barnum passed away in 2018. Item very heavy to ship !!
