Briess Brewers Malt

Description

Briess Brewers Malt is a light colored American base malt. It has a clean, sweet flavor with a mild maltiness and contributes light straw color to wort. Made from 2-row barley varieties, Briess Brewers Malt has a slightly lower protein content and a slightly higher yield than 6-row base malts. It is very versatile can be used as a base malt for any beer style.
Grains are unmilled, if you would like the grains milled immediately before shipping please let us know! Milled grains work best in a mash!
Please Note: If you would like milled grains please indicate at the time of purchase, once we have printed your shipping label your items are immediately packaged for shipment and we will no longer be able to mill your grains.
Grains milled for brewing or distilling are run through a mill just enough to break the kernel into enough pieces to extract all the sugar, it is NOT milled into a flour.
