Beautiful Antique Grainger Hannan Company Detroit Sterling Silver 9" Vase 5760

Description

Antique vase with a sterling silver vase and a clear glass insert. Marked "Grainger-Hannan Company Sterling 5760 9in" and some kind of hallmark on the bottom. The Grainger-Hannan Co was a high end Detroit business located on Woodward Ave in the 1800s. It was the predecessor to the Grainger-Hannan-Kay Co that later became Wright-Kay Jewelry. The detail in the silver work is exquisite. The base is engraved "EV" on one side. It stands just over 9" tall. I am not sure the exact age of this but it is from the 1800's.
This is in pre-owned antique condition with some wear from age, use, and storage. No chips or breaks though. Please use zoom function and see pictures for more details.
