There are two basic types of metering valve upgrades for your Harbor Freight and similar blast cabinet.  The "pipe parts" type and the cast aluminum body one.  We sell both of those BUT ....
This metering valve is the ABSOLUTE best and we are the only source because we do the custom machine work modifications ourselves in our shop right here in the USA (Florida!!).  Our own custom design and manufactured here in the USA !!
Why is this the best?  We start with the standard aluminum casting valve body and then mill out the throat to reduce the restriction by 50%.  We also mill the end of the brass fitting to create a bevelled edge rather than the blunt end that blocks the media flow.
PLEASE SEE THE PICS FOR DIRECT COMPARISONS OF OUR SPECIALLY MODIFIED VALVE WITH THE BASIC UNMODIFIED CAST ALUMINUM VALVE.
These changes turn this good metering valve in a great one.  Use less air to move your media.  Reduce air compressor cycling on and off.  Get the job done faster.
