80 Mesh Garnet is the most popular abrasive grade used worldwide and delivers the optimum balance of cutting speed and precision edge.
Garnet is ideal for removing rust and paint as well as mill scale removal on new steel, marine aluminium applications, and hydro-blast cleaning.
It is great at profiling steel, water jet cutting, and removing deeply pitted rust and other difficult coatings. Garnet is great because it is economical. It works well in a blast cabinets and will give you several repeat impacts before it is worn out.
